Crop on the Cape Teachers
Hello everyone, we are Adele and April, a mother-daughter team. Adele is a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, while April is her assistant, has a paper doll-making business. We both really enjoy the art of scrapbooking and cardmaking and bringing new techniques to the table. Adele had been a part of the CTMH since 2013 and, when they closed, found a new home at SU. Together, we travel all over the Northeast to bring the joy of paper crafting to hundreds of people each year.
We have been teaching customers for over a decade through in-person classes, online classes, and through our YouTube Channel, Just Say Scrap. We just started a new segment called Make-It Mondays to go along with our Technique Tuesdays and Throw-It-Together Thursdays. We would love for you to subscribe and join us on our crazy and fun journey (and we have outtakes, too!).
We also run our own weekend retreats on Long Island NY. We would love to see you there if you want another fun weekend of crafting. All are welcome! If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]. For pre-orders, please let us know at least two weeks in advance. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Cheryl Mezzetti, the founder of Perfect Paints, is an accomplished designer and mixed media artist who has worked in the art industry for over 20 years. Formerly, Cheryl functioned as a meticulous Education Director and Design Team coordinator for Creative Imaginations as well as Splash of Color.
Cheryl’s love of art was evident at a very young age, with strong influences and encouragement from her mother, aunt, and grandmother. At the age of just five years old, Cheryl shared her “artistic” abilities by painting her kitchen walls with calamine lotion as if they were a blank canvas! Her love of design, color, and texture only grew from there.
As an instructor, she has taught at a myriad of conventions and specialty stores throughout the United States, South Africa, Canada, and Europe. Her love of education and passion for Art is mirrored in her unique style of teaching, operating as an encouraging, entertaining, and inspiring professional who focuses on attention to detail and perfection. Enrolling in a class led by Cheryl is undoubtedly a priceless exposure to unique styles of work, as well as personal development for each student within the subject of expertise.

Hello everyone! Lynne Forsythe here, and I couldn’t be more excited to be teaching two classes at this year’s Crop on the Cape! If you’re curious to know a little bit about me, let me share my journey with you. I’ve been immersed in the paper crafting industry for what feels like a lifetime, and I absolutely love living out my creative dream. Over the years, I’ve worn many different hats—from Design Team Member to Design Team Lead, Store Manager to Store/Studio Owner, and even a Product Designer.
My experiences have taken me far and wide, from attending trade shows as a buyer, seller, and teacher, to having my work published in numerous Somerset Studio publications, which has been a true honor. My design style has evolved significantly since I began as a traditional scrapbooker. Now, I proudly identify as a Mixed Media Artist, but two elements have always been at the heart of my creative process: color and flowers. These themes run through all my projects, no matter the medium or style.
Recently, I’ve added another exciting chapter to my creative journey—I became a Certified Instructor for Powertex USA. Powertex has opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for me, especially when it comes to blending my love for mixed media and collage. I’m thrilled to bring this passion to Crop on the Cape, and I can’t wait to meet all of you. Together, we’ll dive into the world of mixed media, where we’ll create, experiment, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with color, texture, and innovative techniques. I look forward to connecting with you, sharing my knowledge, and helping you take your creativity to new heights!

As a child, she would turn her treasures into cool art pieces and sell them in local stores. Later, she taught paint classes from her home, had a dream job working as a designer for A.C. Moore, and worked on several company design teams. She also taught classes at local scrapbook stores and senior centers. Nancy lives in Marshfield, MA. Surrounded by marshes and wildlife, that inspires her daily. She is the proud mother of four boys, nine grandchildren, beautiful daughter-in-laws, and three lovable dogs.
